Information concerning loss of Feldwebel Karl Aumüller - Zerstorer pilot - killed 22.08.42

Hi,

Can anyone provide information on the loss Feldwebel Karl Aumüller who was a pilot in a Zerstorer squadron and was lost on the 22nd August 1942?

He had the EK I and II and the Silver Flight Badge. He died n his 63 battle flight.

I think he was lost over Afrika.

22.8.42 8./ZG 26 Ort: bei Derna, Ursache: nicht gemeldet, Bf 110 F-2 trop 4546 100%.
F Fw Aumüller, Karl †.
Handwritten amendment: loss category 22 = Totalverlust ohne Feindauftrag bei Ausbildungs- und sonstigem Flug / destroyed without enemy action on an non-operational flight.
