Re: Heinkel He 111 H-6, Werknummer: 4.093, KI+XA
I believe it is. Both aircraft are reported on the same NVM and crashed on the same day, however, the crash locations whilst near to each other appear to be sufficiently far apart for this to seem unlikely but I'm happy to be corrected:
He 111 KI+XA - bei Kleinenbremen 8km sued Minden Do 17 GL+AY - bei Haddenhausen 8km suedwestl. Minden I'd be interested to hear from anyone else with additional information. Last edited by Steve Coates; 21st August 2017 at 00:31. |

Re: Heinkel He 111 H-6, Werknummer: 4.093, KI+XA
I live close to the crash sites.
He 111: Crashed on a test flight in bad weather due to ground contact in Kleinenbremen, a district of the City of Porta Westfalica, district of City of Minden-Lübbecke (mountainous forest). ---> www.airwarhistory.com/kleinenbremen Do 17 Z: Crashed on a test flight from Rechlin to Bremen in the district Haddenhausen of the City of Minden. Due to bad weather conditions, the machine stripped the tree tops and hit the area of the "Wiehengebirge" (mountainous forest). The three-man crew was killed. ---> www.spurensuche-owl.de/front_content.php?idcat=203&lang=1
