Identity of Pilot of U8+CB of Stab I./ZG 26 1940
Today on eBay, a photo was auctioned that appeared to have the name of the pilot written in pencil on the back.
The photo was: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...2946730&ih=019 The tail shows 2 victory tabs and the pilot's name appears to be Lt. Reynier or Reymier, or something like that. Anybody got any idea who served on the Stab of 1940 during the French Campaign or early Battle of Britain with a name similar to that? Also, anybody know what this person's official position on the Gruppenstab would be? Thanx
