bf110-g4-part

hi,
a part of bf110g4 is coded r8-110.1706.15.4 on the backside and "Ein" on the frontside. is this part from the undercarriage controls or landing flaps controls from the instrument panel?
thanks in advance
jim

Re: bf110-g4-part

Hi Jim,

I checked my lists for parts and spare parts of the Bf-110 and unfortunately found nothing except that parts starting with "17" should be a fuselage fairing of the D0,D1 and E1 series. According to the website: http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/Waffen/Me110-R.htm these Bf-110 types were equipped with bomb rack possibly "ETC 500/IX". Then such a fairing would make sense. I hope it helps you?

Greetings Markus

have to the topic the following link which possibly shows the Bomben Rack: http://p.calameoassets.com/120516145...a6e7cc/p30.jpg

Re: bf110-g4-part

hi markus,
thanks for your reply. 17 might be correct, but maybe someone knows what this part is for: undercarriage or landing flaps?
all the best
jim

Re: bf110-g4-part

Hi, Jim,
as already noted, I mean it is a fairing on the fuselage directly. In the area of the holder for the bomb dropping rack. So no landing gear or flap part I mean.

So it seems according to the part number. But maybe other experts will get involved here? I am not quite sure myself.

Regards,
Markus
