Weds 14 May 1941 loss of south Cornish coast
Wednesday 14th May 1941
At 1.20am a German plane dive bombed a group of fishing boats 2½ miles off Mevagissey. The plane failed to come out of its dive & crashed into the sea. The fishermen searched the spot but no trace of the plane or its crew could be found. I have come across this local history snippet and wonder if anyone has any information to confirm the loss of this German aircraft, please.

Luftwaffe was active the night of 13-14 May 41 in the Plymouth/Falmouth area but no losses
