B-24 near Hildesheim 08.05.1944

Hello,

On 8 May 44 Leutnant L. Münster of the 5./JG 3 collided with a B-24 near Hildesheim. Both planes went down - Münster lost his life. He was posthum. awarded the Eichenlaub afterwards. Any details on his last claim? Thanks in advance.

Best wishes,
Rob
