Loss of Lancaster LM523

On the night of 27 - 28 April 1944 Lancaster II LM523 of No.460 Squadron was shot down by a night-fighter while on an op to Friedrichshafen. Is it possible to obtain the details of who made the claim for this loss?

Regards
Peter.

It would be helpful if you could supply details of the crash time and location (if known)

Re: Loss of Lancaster LM523

funny, I have a listing of 25 Lancs shot down with a total of 36 for the night against the RAF, inclusion of Halis in that total.

NJG 6 claimed 14 this night's operation

Re: Loss of Lancaster LM523

I have in my notes the RAF raided Aulnoye, Friederichshafen, and Montzen with a force of 665 Dispatched and the loss of 35.

I have those losses "claimed" as 15 Lancs and 31 Halifax between 0119 and 0310hrs on the night of 27-28 April 1944 by the nachtjagdwaffe. Are you talking about actual Lanc. losses, or claims by the NJG? My original post was only refering to claims made against Lancasters...

I could very well be wrong though
