Any Bf110 recoon lost over Krymskaya (USSR, Kuban region) in 1943?

Hi all!

After we could recognise 4 aircrafts with crews from ZG1 (report I'll post a bit later), we have 1 more place to dig-out a Bf110.

Some sources say, that it was in 1943 - so, the only fariant is Battle over Blue line, so it is spring 1943. ZG1 was out of there at that moment.

That mean, it could be only reconaissance aircraft.

I am a bit dumb in recons. Could someone help us with possible Bf110 recoon units on that period and place (Luftflotte 4, spring 1943), and possible losses?

Hello Evgeny,

Maybe Bf110E-2 from Fl.Fü.Krim? Shot down by AA fire on 5.May.1943 NE Temryuk. Far a bit from Krymskaya, but I can't find other a/c (if we ignore 10./ZG1)

Best regards,
Andrey

Yes, we are aware about Heinrich Melchart 's a/c shot down on 28 may over Krymskaya...

Here is a shield.
GWF, so it COULD be a recoon ...

If exclude the unknown (for me) loss in 1941-43, theoretically it maybe recce a/c lost in Jan.-Apr.1944. Maybe Matti Salonen will make it clear.

Bf110E-2 from Fl.Fü.Krim fell in the swamp area NE Temryuk certainly, some evidences from the land forces of both sides are exist.

Re: Any Bf110 recoon lost over Krymskaya (USSR, Kuban region) in 1943?

It could be:
08.09.1942
6./ZG 1
Bf 110E-1 W.Nr.3434
Bei Krimskaja
Motorstörung infolge Feindbeschuß. Bruch 60 %.

But anyway, after weather will be better, guys will try to dig them out.

quote from the above list

25.3.1943 1./ZG 1 Bf 110 G-2 3257 Westlich Bataisk Luftkampf mit LaGG-3. Bruch 100 %.

Is this WNr. correct ? I thought this is in the C-4 range. Or is it WNr.6257
