Obergefr Alfred Thiel, found 08.01.1941.
Seeking further info, he was born 04.05.1920, Saarbrücken, N1458/39T, believed found washed ashore at Sizewell, Suffolk, 08.01.1941.
I'm trying to ID his unit and actual date of loss. Thanks.

Very probably not from Luftwaffe. Have not found any NVM, which fits. Also EKM seems not to be from Luftwaffe.

Hi Joe
Alfred Thiel was from the Kriegsmarine. One of 45 crew members lost in the sinking of the torpedo boat WOLF which was mined off Dunkirk during the night of 7/8 January 1941.
