Cotton in the ME Bf 109?
On 19 July 1944, the US 8th Air Force bombed Spinnerei & Weberai Kottern (Cotton Spinning and Weaving) of Kempten, Germany.
In an analysis of the bombing, the factory was listed as producing "Me 109 components". What components for an aircraft would a cotton mill produce? Or had the factory been re-tasked to a wartime industry? Thanks, Tom |

Look into the wings of this 109, possible that component?

Re: Cotton in the ME Bf 109?
Part of the production area was confiscated for the Messerschmitt production. Not what it produced
