Details sought on loss 44 Squadron Lancaster PB751, 4-5 December 1944 Heilbronn Raid

Dear all,

Who can supply me with additional details on the loss of 44 Squadron Lancaster PB751 during the 4-5 December 1944 Heilbronn Raid. The aircraft crashed near Brettach, 15 km NE of Heilbronn, whole crew PoW, but I have no further info on the cause and time of loss.

Thanks, Theo

Theo,

Not quite details on the crash but the crew is listed on this link (scroll down to 2nd page).

And a little more information on the Bomb Aimer, Walters (search for the second occurrence of Walters on the link):

Wonder what his medals sold for?
