Is Colonel (ret) Richardo Gomez Candelaria alive - Luftwaffe and Allied Air Forces Discussion Forum

Good afternoon ,does anybody has contact with the family of Colonel USAF (ret) Richard Gomez Candelaria of the 435th FS, 479th FG, due to a project to honor him.

Any help appreciated.

As far as I am aware he is still alive. I have not received any notifications otherwise. I cannot give out his contact information, but I will ry to contact him and ask permission.

I'm interested in Ricardo Candelaria, too.
Was he a Mexican citizen or a US citizen ?

Not sure where you get Ricardo from--all records I have seen reference him as Richard. He was born in Pasadena, California. Kent
