November 2 1928/1929 ? Lieut Elton Council Parker USN Incident

Lieut Elton Council Parker of the USN baled out of an aircraft over San Diego, California in November 1928 or November 1929

I believe the correct date to be November 2 1928 and the aircraft to be a Curtiss F6C-3 Hawk Serial A7156 which was lost on this date

Lt , Elton C Parker was on the USS Lexington in VB-1B at the time he later was the Acting Captain of the USS Suwannee (CVE-27) (November 1945 ) and Died: Jun. 12, 1987.

Can anyone please confirm serial and provide any more details of the incident which caused Elton Council Parker to abandon his aircraft
Many Thanks

Paul
