German aviation industry manpower

After the Versailles Treaty denied Germany any military aircraft production, many plants closed their doors.
From about 40,000 people late 1918, the manpower quickly dwindled.
My question is: how many were left in 1920?
And if you have the breakdown, you'd be blessed...

Thanks in advance.

Chris

Re: German aviation industry manpower

If that help, Richard Meredith's The Phoenix is Reborn 1918-1934 gives 3,988 workers, 2,813 in airframe plants and 1,175 in engine ones as of 31 January 1933. He gives the source as : German Aircraft Industry and Production: 1933-1945 by Ferenc A. Vajda and Peter Dancey.

Who in turn I suspect sourced these numbers from Homze's book 'Arming The Luftwaffe'.

Homze also quotes 3,200 for Qtr 3 1932.

Well, thanks to you. However, I look for the figures in 1920 - not in 1933.
