Second Log Book of Lieutenant Commander (A) Donald Judd DSC
A long shot I know, but I have the first log book of RNVR pilot Lieutenant-Commander (A) Donald Judd DSC, which covers the period from May 1940 to mid-March 1943. Does anyone know the whereabouts of his second log book, which commences in mid-March 1943 as he was training on the Grumman Avenger in the USA and covers his time in the Indian Ocean and Pacific?
I have Judd's book 'Avenger from the Sky', which provides a lot of good detail on his full wartime career but it would be great to have sight of the second log book. Happy to share research with anyone who can help. Best wishes Tim O. |

Re: Second Log Book of Lieutenant Commander (A) Donald Judd DSC
Hi Bruce
In the UK, only close relatives can seek records of service personnel who survived the war, so I cannot access Royal Navy records. I will try to see if the museum have anything they can share. Thanks for the thought.

Re: Second Log Book of Lieutenant Commander (A) Donald Judd DSC
The FAA Museum confirmed they do not have Judd’s log book.
