Claims Ju 88 April 45

Are there any known claims of Ju 88 during the night of April 2/3 1945 or April 3/4 1945 over the Netherlands or NW Germany?

Thanks,

John

Re: Claims Ju 88 April 45

On night of 02/03 April 1945 W/O FE Hamburgh and F/O EH Pinnell of 406 Sqn in
Mosquito XXX MM751 claimed a Ju88 N of Schleswig (55.00N 09.10E) at 23:40 hrs.

Flying at 1,500 ft at 23:25 hrs contact crossing port to stbd at 2 miles range, above, headed north. Following a port turn contact regained in a climb, leading to a visual at 1000ft range, identified Ju88. Attack made from behind and below at 200ft range, its port engine exploded and e/a disintegrated.

Yes, I am looking for the reason of the crash.....perhaps a Mosquito claimed it. Anyway, I believe this is a 7./NJG 2 crew, not NJG 3.

Thanks,

John
