Of the 528 pilots listed on the personnel roster in the Washington Infantry Press book I am 12 pilots shy of a full set of photos. The missing photos are.. 61st FS ABAR- Everett. BLOOM- Robert. MYERS- Clarence. SMITH- Judson. STROUD- William. 62nd FS. BEELER- Hugh. TEVELS- Albert. WOODWARD- John. 63rd FS. REED- Richard. SCHREIBER- Walter. TATE- William. VEST- Boss. Can anybody help fill in the last few gaps? Thanks in anticipation. Nige wolfpack56@btinternet.com |

Re: 56th Fighter Group Website Launched.
I noted that someone found a photo of Hugh Beeler. Hugh and I went through P-47 training at Richmond, VA in August '43. Does anyone know if Hugh is still alive? He was a fine gentleman.
