Dears ,

I have found at German newspaper small article about hitted by FW190 aircraft.
This is story on base memories old man from this area - his is 78 years old and still remember this air battle.When I will make scan than try attache to post.
Have you somethink more about this aircraft and whic German FW190 hitted American pilots ????

The plane was 41-24593 with 1st Lt Cornelius Jenkins as pilot. Four crew members were captured and six were killed. The plane was on a raid the Hamm. They were unable to bomb either the primary and secondary targets. They were then attacked by fighters and badly shot up. Finally they were rammed by an enemy fighter which took off part of the right wing. The plane broke up as it fell and the four survivors were able to bail out. ..."
