OberstLt Gustav Nietkowski

In the latest book from Douglas Nash, "The Defeat of the Damned", there is a mention of a cashiered Luftwaffe named Nietzkowski (Nitzkowski) who served in the Dirlewanger Brigade. He commanded the III battalion in the battle for Ipollysag in December 1944. Could not find him on the LW Officer list.
