He.111 Behelfsnachtjäger
Hello,
I´m wondering if somebody can help me with this picture I stumbled upon (https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic...thread/?page=3) ...is it showing a He.111 used for chasing other planes or for "Eisenbahnbekämpfung"? Time (winter 42/43? or 43/44?), the unit involved and location would also be of interest. The He.111 version and Waffenrüstsatz are also unknown to me. There seem to be 4 forward firing inflexible MGs aside of the 20mm cannon and the 7.9mm MG in the gondola. Thanks in advance Michael |

Re: He.111 Behelfsnachtjäger
Hallo!
It could be 14.(Eis)/KG 55 from Winter 1943-44, but I have nothing to prove it. Too bad the code is not visible. I would love to see at least one photo showing a whole 14.(Eis)/KG 55 He 111 plane from 1944 with identifiable codes. No luck in 21 years and counting... Cheers, Kari |
