Coastal Command Losses 21 Apr 42
On this date, a German night fighter pilot claimed a Ventura at 1402 hrs, no location given. Would this match with the loss of AM782 of 59 Sqn?

Ross: VMT. Apparently Oblt Helmut Woltersdorf of 7/NJG 1 claimed a 'Ventura' at 1402 hrs. I have a note that Boggon's body was recovered??

Hi Chris,
The casualty files available from the National Archives of Australia, and Sgt White is an Australian, should tell you details of when the loss ocurred etc, and often have the post war MRES info in it as well. Regards Russell |

Hi Ross
There are those of us who has been waiting almost four years to get your Vol 2 of Coastal Command losses in WW 2. Any news/updates when we can get it would be appreciated Cheers Stig |

Re: Coastal Command Losses 21 Apr 42
Cas Cards say Hudson took off at 1220 hrs which puts it in the right place at the right time and that Boggon (who was promoted posthumously) was washed ashore at Kemsby Gap
