Publisher's note:
The first volume of a series of books called "Illustrated History of Romanian Aviation" that aims to illustrate and describe the aircraft used by Romania.
This is a book about the history of the Hawker Hurricane flown by Romania during the pre-war period and during Operation Barbarossa. The book is bilingual Romanian-English and contains a wealth of photographs and information about the Hawker Hurricane and the very successful Escadrila 53 Vanatoare.
