Information concerning loss of Gef. Josef Hirsch - killed 18.06.1944
Hi,
Can anyone provide details on the loss of Gef. Josef Hirsch who was in a bomber squadron and was a bordmechaniker. He was killed on the 18th June 1944. Thanks Rick

Rick,
Volksbund.de says Enguinegatte in NW France as place of death for Gefr. Hirsch. A book by Hugues Chevalier (with help of boardmember Joss Leclercq) about 1940-1945 crashes in the Nord-Pas de Calais region tells of some undisclosed Ju-88 losses in the June-August 1944 period in that area. Perhaps further info has come forward since its publication in 2006. Regards, Leendert
