eBay: Do 17Z damaged Sept 1939?
At eBay here is damaged Do 17Z. The seller claims that this was from KG 77 and probably 3./KG 77. The incident took place in September 1939 at Kielce in Poland. The damage looks unusual, and I at first considered a deliberate fire caused by the crew after a landing in hostile territory. But the seller may suggest a ground incident with another aircraft.
Any further details would be appreciated. Ian |
