crash Bf109 E-7 W.Nr.6509

Hi,
7.6.1941 crashed Uffz.Schlichting 2./JG 26 in Brest-Guipavas Bf 109 E-7 W.Nr.6509 80-95%.
Please does anyone have more information about this incident and especially about this pilot?

EM 60014/22. As far as I know, he was not injured.

Hello Tony,

according to the GQM loss return on 7 June 1941 Uffz Schlichting was verletzt (= injured). This entry was corrected on 5 March 1942: Uffz Schlichting unverletzt (= not injured).

Leo, thank you very much, this is interesting information!
So this pilot could continue, but I haven't found him in JG 26 or any other unit after this incident.

Yes, it is one of the options. If he was an instructor, it will be hard to find.
