Mirek Wawrzynski is an unknown quantity at this point
Captured Butcherbirds – Fw 190, March 2009

There has bee edited the third title from Kecay in March 2009.
The first was “Captured Me 109” (2007).
Second was “Assembly Ships (2008),
and just now is the third „Captured Butcherbirds – Fw 190”.
Book is written by J.Jackiewicz & R.Bock.
English text and soft cover with 120 pages. There are 329 photos plus 28 multi-views painting schemes and 127 side profiles excellent done by J. Jackiewicz (he is very good in his works). Entire book is published in color.
This will be, I supposes, very interesting thing for those, who are looking for material about Focke-Wulf Fw 190s and Ta 152 in RAF and USAAF service 1942-1945. The volume 1 covers these histories very nice. There are plenty excellent done painting schemes, supported by photos, small part of the book (12 pages) you may see:

Regards,
Mirek Wawrzyński

If the second volume will be so good done like the first one all funs of “Fw 190s” would have get very good books about captured Fw 190 in foreign service, fully recommended.

Re: Captured Butcherbirds – Fw 190, vol. 2?

Has anyone seen vol. 2? I am wondering how many pages are devoted to the Hungarian service.

I am wondering if the Authors could come up with any new photos/information on this topic.

There are seven pages of text, photos and profiles related to Hungarian butcherbirds. The pictures are okay, nothing radically new but some slightly different angles of 1 or two birds.

Thanks, Paul.
Talking of "radically new" Hungarian Fw 190 profiles, there will be quite a few such artwork in my upcoming book on Hungarian fighter colours.
