Ju 88 D-1 with Rüstsatz B1 & B2 --> Access to fuselage?
Hello everyone,
When a Ju 88 D-1 was fitted with the Rüstsatz B1 and B2 (additional fuel tanks in the bomb bay), how could the rear fuselage be accessed? Normally, there was a door that could be opened from the rear bomb bay, but if the tank was installed, I assume there was not enough space to crawl into the fuselage from there. But somehow, the fuselage must have been accessible to maintain the cameras. Is there any Ju 88 expert who has an answer to my question? Cheers, Roger |
