266 Sqdrn. Leader A S MacIntyre?

Can any one say with certainty the date that the leader of 266 Sqdrn. A S MacIntyre was shot down – I have seen 15 and 23 Aug 43. Any further details regarding his demise would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Rob Romero

Commonwealth War Graves Commission http://www.cwgc.org has it listed as 15 August 1943

Kind regards
