Me 210/Me 410
Hello,
How can you tell externally a Me 210 from a Me 410? Thanks in advance. Chris |

IMHO the easiest to notice: - 410 had longer engines - In 210 the leading edge sweep was bigger in the outer wings than in the inner wings, in 410 the sweep is constant. - Early 210s were 92 cm shorter than the late, modified 210s, Hungary built 210 Cs and 410s. Juha |

As well as the clues already mentioned, I also look at the fuselage from the canopy to the tail ; the Me 410 is higher and an early 210 is much finer. Also the panel around the engine scoop of a 410 is a rectangle shape and the 210 is square.
Unfortunately it is still not easy, and I expect that probably 25% of my Me 210/410 photos are wrongly identified. The trouble is that production of the Me 410 did not suddenly replace the 210, it evolved through several improvements producing a series of hybrids. Last edited by sirbob; 19th July 2017 at 09:34. |
