Loss of Bf 110 WNr 4292 august 1944

Hi, guys.

Cleaning up the records which are not complete in my database.

Entry 8 on the GenQu report of 18.08.1944 is outside of the page on my microfiche, the part I can read is the loss reason 'Bruch b.Start inf.schlechter' (and on the following line would be written 'Bodenverhältnisse'), the aircraft model 'Bf 110 E2', WNr '4292' and damage percentage '15'. In addition, it looks like the location was 'Fl.Pl.Evere' which would be outside of Bruxelles in Belgium.

Could anyone supply the missing information (Unit and date)?

Regards,
Andreas

Re: Loss of Bf 110 WNr 4292 august 1944

Hello Andreas,

Bf110E-2 appears three times in my database:

12-6-1942, Bf110E, Wnr.4292, 3/ZG 1, Belgorod, crashlanded because of bad soil, 10% damaged (source: Reel 6)

3-11-1942, Bf110E-2, Wnr.4292, 3/ZG 1, Krasnodar, damaged by AA-fire, 60% damaged (source: Reel 7)

and then the entry which is exact the same as yours unfortunately...

Best wishes, Marcel from Venlo

PS. Have you ever had my requests about III.KG 3 losses in 1944 (Summ.Verlustmeldungen) ??

So that's ref to the schools.., so unit is ZG101, nd date is ...aug.44

but reviewing the scan of the loss, I hv same as you a beautiful cut in the middle of the entry, so I hv to find where I hv got the suppl. data

But questin for US rolls stay "alive"
