Seeking confirmation of WerkNr.
Hello,
Am seeking confirmation of a WerkNr ? He 111P-2 Werk # 2002 "1G + HT" 9/KG-27. I have been advised that this Werk Nr is not correct ? Anyone have correct information please ? Many thanks Alex

Which 1G+HT? There are several recorded as losses. What's the date? I do have a WNr.2002, 1H+GT, lost on 11-Apr-41 per sources Gen.Qu.6.Abt. (mfm #3)-Vol.4; Waiss, Boelcke-Archiv, III, p.53; Foreman, 1941-The Turning Point, II, p.65

Correct WNr. is 2602.

Just to amplify. WNr 2002 was no He 111 at all and if we look at Heinkel produced aircraft their WNr 2002 was a He 112 B-0 Cheers Stig

I forgot to include the date  It would seem from the other members replies that the sources you give for the 11April 41 are wrong ? Maybe they copied each other ? All the best Alex
