Re: unknown loss?

Jim, I have a partial NVM which may be the one you are looking for it 27-11-1944 S3+AH 701399 Feindflug Ja

Ff Fw Erich Hamann died Luft Laz. Frankfurt 28-11-44 - born17-12-16
B Gef Heinrich Bomholt
Bf Uffz Hans Kreuzer
Bd Uffz Alfred Luders
Bw Uffz Alfred Haase

The other four crewmen appear to be in the wounded column with Kreuzer,
Luders and Haase noted as lightly

Re: unknown loss?

Hi Jim, I do not think this crew were ex KG 55, where crews came from this unit their ERM was generally 58280 , those for this crew were as follows,

Hamann 3./Fl.Rgt.8 Battr. Nr 36
Bomholt 71060/358
Kreuzer 3.Kp,Nachr.Ers. Abt.26 Nr 97
Luders 53414/ B 66
Haase 53026 A /47

I did have a site where I could check these but lost it when my old computer went to Turing Heaven,

Cheers
Brian Bines

They did, many KG 55 crews and aircraft were attached to TGr. 30 in September 1944.

Re: unknown loss?

Aircraft from both KG 53 and KG 55 operated in the west on supply flights post D-Day . KG 53 withdrawing to Germany in August for V-1 Launcher training. Some 15 Heinkels were transferred from KG 55 to TG 30 in the late August early Sept. period. From NVMs some seven Heinkels with the TG 30 code were lost with the crews noted as belonging to III/KG 55 in the period 12th Sept to November. and an aircraft with a TG 30 crew was lost with the G1 code
That is what I have been able to pick up from various sources,

Regards
