Denesthorpe aerodrome northamptonshire 1943
In 1943-4 my father was working on this aerodrome building runways,can anyone tell me which American Bomber Group was flying from Denesthorpe aerodrome northamptonshire 1943 I believe they were flying B17's.Thanks Roger

There was no airfield in Northhamptonshire called Denesthorpe.
There was however one called Deenethorpe. There is quite a good page on Wikipedia about it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAF_Deenethorpe Regards Andy |
