Franz Stiglers BF 109

I recently came across numerous articles written about Franz Stigler and the B-17 of Charlie Brown. I collect 1/18 scale aircraft and want to convert one of my 109s to the paint scheme he used at the time of that incident. All I've been able to find is the paintings of his old plane white 12 in the tropical paint scheme. I found (1) painting of that encounter with his plane painted in greys and yellow 2, also it has what appears to be a heraldic bear inside of a shield on it's nose. I can find no mention of Stigler and this plane anywhere. Any body out there know anything? Sure would appreciate the info. Have a good one.
