Ju 88 T-1 8H+ZH 1.(F)/33 Algeria 1943 - Update

Hello,

I have recently replaced my old website www.vintageeagle.com with a completely new design and content including addenda to my book 'Captured Eagles Vol. I'. You can find all articles at

www.vintageeagle.com/blog

The most recent addendum article features 4 new photos of Ju 88 T-1 8H+ZH of 1.(F)/33 of which I published the story of its last mission that led to the belly landing in Algeria in 1943. At this point, I'd like to thank Nick Beale again for the support I got from him when originally researching the story of 8H+ZH.

If you'd like to be notified about new content, you can subscribe to a newsletter (not more than one every month or so).

Cheers,

Roger

You can thank Nick Beale but this last flight mission to Oran was in July 1944.
( I also remember this research, as I also have them CREA reports - having put Id to that plane - but never got promised copies of them photos.),

Since I have never done any research about Algeria in 1943, that date is evidently not what Roger so kindly thanked me for.

Hello Ed and Nick,

You are absolutely right. My mistake. I made a typo. The correct date was 3 July 1944. Thanks for correcting!

Cheers,

Roger

More than typo, I think.

What is more than a typo if I wrote a '3' instead of a '4'?

Nick provided me with the Allied Intel report that contained all relevant information about the last mission of 8H+ZH. Therefore I thanked him. I should have thanked you as well as you send me also a 3-line summary of the key info from that report on almost the same day as Nick sent the full report (just checked my inbox in April/May 2009). Sorry for that Ed! I sent you the photos of 8H+ZH that I later published on 25 April 2009.

Aha, now you admit. Of course you only got transcript as the promished printable ones for my book never arrived. Since 2009 is correct, but I do not have email for that period to get to excact details or dates. Only my memory. But that is more than two PC crashes ago. A long time waiting for nothing.

Only sample thumbnails with copy protection do not count. Same goes for G-7 help. Only samples with copy protection. Shame on you. Hope no one helps you from now on and its (in my opinion) shameful use this forum (hoping) for plugging for more sales.. Fortunately other here at this forum are helping
tremendously and I thank them. But not you, sorry.
Eggert

How many times do people need telling? If you want to conduct private disputes, do it away from this forum.
