A Hungarian ace passed away
Just got the very sad news from the family: 1st Lieutenant László Máthé passed away yesterday. He ended the war as a squadron commander and an ace with 12 kills. He lived in Argentina after the war and passed away there as well.
May he rest in peace, he was a very brave and tough officer and an excellent fighter pilot. P.S. You can read more about him in my forthcoming Hungarian aces book. |
