KG 76 loss location June 5, 1941
Hello!
On the fifth of June, 1941 a Ju 88 A-5, Wnr. 2384 from IV./KG 76, went down, killing all the crewmembers. I cannot find out/read where the loss location was. It seems to me it says Stuppach bei Kergontheim or Mergontheim, but i am not sure at all!! Does anyone know the right name? Thanks in advance Christian

Hello Christian,
there is a village Stuppach about 5 km SSW of Mergentheim, this is probably the place you are looking for. Mergentheim is about 35 km SSW of Würzburg. Regards Robert Last edited by robert_schulte; 20th October 2006 at 12:28. Reason: additional info |

Hi, guys.
Think you are refering to this one: http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=110838 I do believe that the name of the Beobachter and the Bordfunker might be wrong (they can not be found in the Volksbund database), the other two crew members are buried at Schöningen (Alversdorf) (Götze) and Karlsruhe-Hauptfriedhof (Bauer).
