Well, not to me. Cheesy titles tend to put me off, and I buy 4-5 books a month.

In the US, really bad and ridiculous titles for books have appeared. In one case, I felt I had no choice, even though the author allowed for some biased and unsupported commentary, I found the book contained the valuable information I was looking for. However, so far, aside from this exception, I feel the same and cross off books that do not represent the subject matter accurately and/or add a bunch of needless adjectives and nonsense words to the title.
