He46 specialists

Hi guys

A website notes that He46s WkNr.331 and 339 were shot down on 22 May 1943. Might this have been 1944?

Cheers
Brian

No, it is 1943. W.Nr.331 owing to landing gear failure.

Re: He46 specialists

Brian, you might have seen these W.Nr.s on my on-line list (currently dead as a parrot), I picked them up from QM returns, the copy held at IWM. Cheers.

Re: He46 specialists

Many thanks Schenck & Andy

The doubt crept in from the fact that He46s were lost on almost identical date in 1944.

Re: He46 specialists

Guys

Any idea who built these 46's? Not Heinkel since the Wnr are far too early...

Cheers
