Two Do 17P crashes in Greece, 17. or 18 .4.41.

I just cant find my notes regarding crashes of two 2.(F.)/11 Do 17P's. If I remember correctly one crashed on landing and another on take-off, both were damaged 40-45% and in both cases it occured in Larissa (although it might have been described only as Greece in GQM records). What were the W.Nr. and was it on 17. or 18 April?

Cheers,
Boris

Happy to know about the location not noted in reports, unit was 4.F11,

DO17 were 4160/40 % 3282/40 % both on 18.April, could you confirm the location ??

Hi Remi,

I have a photo of one of these aircraft (Do 17P-1 6M+GK). Few years ago there was another photo of the same plane at ebay and on its back was inscription that it was taken at Larissa. My photo was taken at the end of April/begining of May 1941 and if I remember correctly these were the only losses which corresponded to the photo. In that case it should have been from the 2.Staffel, the 4. was at Graz (or possibly Zagreb) at the time. Unfortunately the W.Nr. on its nose is not recognizeable. It looks like it was damaged on landing rather than take-off. The W.Nr.3282 seems like clerical error as this W.Nr. is from Do 17Z range. It rather seems to be W.Nr.3582.

Cheers,
Boris
