FW190 A-5 WerkNr. #2688

Hi, I'm new here and looking for pictures of wreck - a downed Fw190 A-5 (WerkNr. # 2688).
This aircraft was from 16.6. - 23.6.43 at Auxerre WAGO for repair and came from the III. / JG26.
Later it was again there, namely on 27.9.43, came from I. / JG26, 70% damaged in forced landing at the 8.9.43 and finaly scrapped.
Maybe there´s any source for or is it in the hands of someone ?

Many Thanks

Re: FW190 A-5 WerkNr. #2688

Interesting, i have the sames datas coming from my researchs from Air 40/1887

A-5 152688 SJ + FK j.h.e. Ago Oschersleben 1943 16/06/43 23/06/43 III./JG 26

Myself, for personals reasons i have completly stop all researchs about Fw 190, if i remember i was arrived on the wall when i searching about this plane .
So chance, on this board, we have reals experts from JG 26 .

Hi Dan,

I know nearly all about this aircraft #2688 because it was my fathers aircraft and he was downed in it by Spitfire at the 8.9.43, forced landed at Sainghin en Melantois (France).
Not for sure is what happens with my father and the #2688 at the 20.6.43. At this day Boston III (107 Squadron) bombing airfield Poix escorted by Spitfire F.IX (403 and 421 Squadron). 3 victories over FW190 are recorded from No421 at this day and it seems one of them was my father. More I can´t say for the moment.
The reason why I searching some pictures of this #2688wreck is that I do a chronological report of the military career of my father.

Cheers

Hi Peglar,
Thank you ! Is it to understand who is who on the picture in the middle ?
Maybe you have wreck-pictures of the #2688 or knowing something about them ?

Greets

Hi thenelm, one more question is here -

What is the exact name of the Prien-book, where I can find the above facts about Fw.Bäumener ? Die Jagdfliegerverbände VOL ??

Many thanks
