Ju 88C-4/6? C9+NT - any info..?
Hello, everyone.
Does anyone have any info on the Junkers Ju 88C-4/6(?) C9+NT that was in an Ebay-auction some days ago? Or operational info in the NJ Geschwader? The aircraft in question was transported by road from Coulommiers airfield to the Frontreparaturbetrieb at Vélizy-Villacoublay - some 77 kilometres. Does anyone have further info on this aircraft as to where and when exactly it crash landed or was destroyed/damaged..? Time frame: somewhat around NOV 1942 according to the info provided by the seller... The aircraft seems to have a two tone grey colour scheme which fits the time frame mentioned...
