Does anyone have a picture of Hauptmann Franz Buschmann

Does anyone know or have any information of the following pilot?

Did he survive the war, a picture would be great!!!! What aircraft would he be flying in 1944?

Hauptmann Franz Buschamann of Stab IV. 1944

Thanks

Danny

Re: Does anyone have a picture of Hauptmann Franz Buschmann

Hi Danny

He was born on 10th September 1913. On 29th May 1944 his Bf110 suffered an engine-fire, it then exploded, he baled-out unharmed. He was shot down and killed by a British night-fighter on 28th June 1944, his Bf110 coming down at Bunseek, Belgium at 0201hrs.

His claims were:-

26th June 1942 II./Njg2 Wellington 0402hrs.
22th June 1943 12./Njg1 Stirling 15km NW Den Helder 0220hrs 3000 metres.
26th June 1943 12./Njg1 Lancaster 20km NE Harderwijk 0217hrs 3000 metres.
26th June 1943 12./Njg1 Halifax 60km W Den Helder 0145hrs 900 metres.
4th July 1943 12./Njg1 Wellington 30km W Terschelling 0222hrs 1000 metres.
16th May 1944 IV./Njg3 "Viermot" 0045hrs 5300 metres.
16th May 1944 IV./Njg3 "Viermot" 0153hrs 4800 metres.
22nd May 1944 IV./Njg3 "Viermot" 0139hrs 3200 metres.

Can't number them as there is the posibility that he got some earlier ones.

Regards

Johannes

Danny, do you got a picture of this pilot?

I would be interested too, in obtaining a copy or an image of this LW airman.
