American Aces Died in 2009
GIBSON, Ralph Duane (Hoot), 5, January 2, 2009, Tucson, Arizona (Korean War)
The year starts off very bad. Hoot was the chairman of this year's American Fighter Aces Association convention in Tucson in June. Rest in Peace. Frank.

I m so sorry for this loss. Life of fighters is always in danger and they live in the fear of death. Really they are so brave. I pray to God may he rest in peace.

ROY EVANS - EAGLE SQUADRON / FOURTH FIGHTER GROUP ACE. Passed away over the weekend, not sure about the date. Confirmed by his daughter in California.
