He is buried at Cannock Chase so it would appear so.

Albert Amode ruht auf der Kriegsgräberstätte in Cannock Chase.
Endgrablage: Block 6 Reihe 11 Grab 236

Nachname: Amode
Vorname: Albert
Dienstgrad: Feldwebel
Geburtsdatum: 08.01.1918
Todes-/Vermisstendatum: 03.05.1941

Looking in Vol 2 of The Blitz Then & Now it would appear that Amode has a distinction of being a victim of the legendary 'Cats Eyes' Cunningham.

Fw A Amode killed.
Aircraft destroyed.
Excavated by Perry Adams in December 1985 when small pieces of badly damaged airframe were unearthed. A manufacturer's plate bearing Wn. 1482 was also discovered to confirm the aircraft's identity.
