Need help translating Sütterlin? handwriting on back of Do17 photo?

Hello,

Our translators are stumped by the caption on the back of this photo. It apparently says in part: "Abgestürztes deutsches? Flugzeug..." which means "Crashed German? aircraft..." What we can't read is the location. We think that the last words give a location, but we just can't decipher that.

This print may have been developed in the Netherlands, based on the Gevaert company imprint on the back.

Can anyone help?

Hello Larry,

the last two words look like "le Grand", maybe Achiet-le-Grand in France?

Regards
Gunnar

Hello Gunnar and digedag1,

Thanx for the translation. The location would indicate an incident during May or early June, 1940, during the Western Campaign. The location is in N France about 12 miles S. of Arras. This would have been a 100% write off but unfortunately we can't find any loss to 8./KG76 (code F1+HS) that might correspond to this. Does anyone have a candidate in their loss lists that might match a Do17 loss at that location?
