LATE ARRIVALS CLUB Western Desert 1941

Hi guys

As I understand it, the unofficial Late Arrivals Club, with its flying boot emblem, was established in June 1941 by RAF Press Officer Sqn Ldr George Houghton.

I believe the number of applicants reached 500 before the war's end.

Who were the first recipients?

Any publications? Any information welcomed.

Cheers
Brian
