Info needed on F/O AE Wilkinson

Can anyone tell me anything about a F/O AE Wilkinson. Believe he was a naval pilot but maybe on loan from the FAA in around 1943.

Please PM me only will explain when I reply to your email.

Cheers,

Danny

Re: Info needed on F/O AE Wilkinson

Do you need his full name for example? Have you checked the London Gazete archives?

Archives.net have the UK Air Force and Navy lists online.

Re: Info needed on F/O AE Wilkinson

There is reference to a Sub/Lt AE Wilkinson in the FAA who attacked a U-Boat on 13.12.1944 in Swordfish NR947 while with 813 NAS.

Perhaps he was a P/O on detachment to the RAF rather than an F/O.

Are you looking for someone who served with 152 Sqn by chance?

Larry,
How are you mate?

Thanks for the info really helpful. will let you know how it goes with the scheme!!!

Not a 152 pilot but have completed the book with Andy's help. apart from pilot - Sgt Barker, sadly nothing on him apart from his brother was a dentist in the Hastings area.

Hope all is good and thanks again for your time and help mate.

Keep in touch.

Regards,

Danny
