Re: New books by Brian Cull
Brian
I've just started reading "First of the Few" and one info at the beginning is interesting. Is there ogoing to be Volume II of the book? BTW. Just have finished "Fighters over Aegean" - superb book. Cheers! Dominik PS. I've found one mistake. GC 1/145 was not French unit. It was Polish. And, AFAIK, the sole unit using Caudron 714 in combat. Last edited by Dominik; 12th January 2014 at 09:00. |

How imminent is imminent? Any date yet for MARYLANDS OVER MALTA? I am really looking forward to read this book. Your effort to cover planes and campaigns that are mostly forgotten is praiseworthy. Cheers, Peter |

Re: New books by Brian Cull
Hi guys
Thanks for the kind words - most encouraging! I have just been informed that 'Marylands over Malta' has at long last gone to the printers, so it should appear imminently! Will keep you informed. I haven't a price yet, but should anyone be interested in a signed copy please let me know. 'Blenheims over Greece & Crete' is with the publisher and March is indicated for publication. But 'Bill Lucy, FAA Ace' has been cancelled for lack of suitable material. Apologies. I am currently working on 'Air War over the Arctic' 1941-42 covering the British/American aid convoys to Russia, and the Russian/British defence of Murmansk, the main port of arrival. Early 2015, hopefully, for publication. Phew! Cheers Brian |

Re: New books by Brian Cull
Thanks Brian,
I see you have no problems to keep yourself employed. Is there any hope that we will see Vol 2 of FLYING SAILORS AT WAR within the nearest years? Cheers, Peter |

Re: New books by Brian Cull
Hi Peter
I'm afraid that the publisher of Flying Sailors at War is not interested in doing Volume II, so we have negated the 'contract' and I now have full rights, in which case I hope to 'do' something in the near future since the manuscript is almost finished. Might you be interested in publishing it, Peter? Cheers Brian |

Re: New books by Brian Cull
Brian,
Unfortunately I am not working in the publishing business. I am just an amateur researcher for moment digging deep in the combat claims by air gunners and with the speed of my work this will keep me employed several years. Anyway I hope you will find a publisher who is interested. Cheers, Peter |

Re: New books by Brian Cull
Hi Brian,
In one of my old favourites Hurricanes over Singapore I read that a sequel was planned: Fighters over Darwin with Dennis Newton as co-author. Is there any possibility that this book will be realised? It would be really interesting to follow the pilots who escaped to Australia from Java. Cheers, Peter |

Latest news: 'Blenheims over Greece & Crete' due for publication 1 March. I've just seen the cover - very impressive (it matches the content!). I'm currently doing the final edit. 'Marylands over Malta' - currently with the printer. Cheers Brian |
