Re: Captured German planes, not from eBay
Many thanks ChristianK, your expertise is highly appreciated.
Further in this archive, a selection of photos taken at Fl.Pl. Brüsterort after it was overrun by the Russian Army, 13 April 1945. https://vk.com/albums-140181428?z=ph...otos-140181428 Last edited by Marc-André Haldimann; 10th April 2021 at 16:59. |

Re: Captured German planes, not from eBay
This was posted over at modelforum.cz by Spektor. Sadly, no source is given, but the photo is labeled as being taken at Erfurt. I cross-checked with an aerial shot from Erfurt-Bindersleben from 10 April 1945 and the location seems to be correct. Anyway, are there more photos of these planes known? I think I saw this (JG 11?) Fw 190 A somewhere else, and the D-9 should be new? Thoughts?
Cheers, Christian |

For your first attachment, I would respectfully suggest a Ju 52/3m; notice the Go 242 in the background. The second attachment does show us Fl.Pl. Prenzlau, captured late April 1945. Cheers Marc |

Re: Captured German planes, not from eBay
An unexpected photo from the Stadtarchiv Memmingen, taken 26 April 1945 by a former US POW which shows Me 262 A-1 W.Nr. 111705 or 111785 :

Re: Captured German planes, not from eBay
After a bit of adjustment to the shadows and highlights, it looks like 785.
